You have posted to the list, from an email address.

So, you already have access to an SMTP server.

If you want/need an additional email address, depending on the service
provider, registering a gTLD domain name, apparently involves, for
10-15USD (the annual cost of the domain name registration, provision
and hosting of a single email address.

It might not be free of charge, but, 10-15USD is not an expensive
annual fee for an email account.
