physical and centric user designs for portable ultrasound systems and supporting
PC applications. <BR><BR><B>Key Responsibilities:<BR></B></SPAN></FONT>

style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Conduct user centered research using a diversity of
techniques (field visits/observation, interviews, usability testing, cognitive
walkthrough, and contextual inquiry). </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Responsible for user needs identification, user
interface design, and physical/ergonomic design of portable ultrasound systems
and product accessories. </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Create user interface designs, prototypes, and
detailed user interface design specification. </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Support user documentation as needed. </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:<BR></B></SPAN></FONT>

Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science with HCI emphasis, or
related field. </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">3 - 5
years relevant industry experience. </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
</SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Experience with design of medical diagnostic devices.
</SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">FDA
or other regulated industry training and experience. </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Proven ability applying user-centered design and
usability engineering principles to product research, development, and design.
Work in partnership with other engineering groups (SW, HW, ID), marketing,
clinical and regulatory. </SPAN></FONT>

style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Proven ability leading user interface/physical
interaction design. </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Graphic design training or skills. </SPAN></FONT>
<LI><FONT face="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12px">Skilled in common graphic design software and rapid
prototyping software. </SPAN></FONT>
