Mountain Bluebird

A few highlights from a trip yesterday with Steve Gerstle over the crest to 
Cle Elum and Vantage. A male Mountain Bluebird was present at the entrance to 
the Quilomene Wildlife Refuge where, as reported earlier, Sage Sparrows are 
singing. A Rock Wren was present on the boat ramp road at the Gingko State 
Park Headquarters. Across the Columbia at the marshes just off I-90 en route 
to Frenchman Coulee, there was one Sora and numerous Virginia Rails.
