For those Tweeters who also are interested in Dragonflies, this morning I
heard an interview with the captain of the ship Nadon, or the St. Roche 2
that is up in the Arctic retracing an early trip of the first St. Roche made
many years ago. He was saying there was a lack of ice up there and for the
first time the Inuit saw a dragonfly. The children were afraid and were
reassured by the crew that they would not bite but eat mosquitoes. The
children were not pleased as they rely on the mosquitoes to drive the
caribou where they can be hunted.

Interesting I thought but an ominous sign of warming perhaps.
