Gale Norton's nomination

Sierra Club's and Ortman's Wise Use are strong position statements
opposing Norton's nomination for Secretary of the Interior. Sierra
Club's statement can be obtained from     alert at sierraclub.org   and

Gale Norton is a protege of James Watts and would be a disaster for
wildlife, refuges, national parks and the environment in general. A
leopard can't change its spots.

Write Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell and urge them to oppose
the nomination. I did. Don't sit on YOUR tailfeathers then whine later.
