Purple Martin

While busy on yard projects yesterday, I had a PURPLE MARTIN with other 
swallows overhead, a first for us here.  Another visitor was a RED-EYED 
VIREO singing from the alder forest, the first here since the somewhat early 
bird of May 13.  Mid-June and early Sept. are the most likely "windows" for 
this species here.
