Olympic Field Trip

On Thursday, Fran and Bunny Wood led a group of 10 other birders on a Seattle 
Audubon field trip to the north Olympic Peninsula. We took the 
Edmonds-Kingston ferry and had stops at Port Gamble, both ends of the Hood 
Canal Bridge, John Wayne Marina, 3 Crabs Restaurant and nearby ponds, 
Jamestown Road, Pt. Williams, end of Washington Harbor Road and Diamond 
Point. It was a cloudy, cool and sometimes rainy day. We ended up with a 
total of 57 species.
