Hello Tweeters,

I found 2 mature Trumpeter Swans and 1 immature south of Monroe on Hwy. 203 on the west side of the "S" curves just north of 203rd near the prison land. They were very near the road and I was able to see them very well to make a positive ID.

Turning on 203rd from Hwy. 203 on the south side of the road, I saw 4 Snow Geese in the field near the road.

The pond on the right also had Shoveler, Green-winged Teal, and lots of American Coots. There may have been more to see, but traffic shortened my "visit".

Thanks to meeting Bob Kinders, who was birding the same area, I also saw a mature Bald Eagle and huge Red-tailed Hawk in the same tree on the east side of W. Snoqualmie Valley Rd. north of Woodinville-Duvall Road.

Happy Birding!
