Subject: tundra birds

A drive across the frozen wastelands between Everson and Lynden
yielded the biggest flock of Redpolls I've seen, maybe 4-500. Also
many Pipits, crowned sparrows (including one hybrid) some confused
looking savannah sparrows and a few meadowlarks.
