Yellow House Finch

Hey Tweets!

Years before I got into birding I lived in Bakersfield, CA and had what I think were HOUSE FINCHES that came in three colors.  Red, Yellow, and Orange.

I recall calling them "finchy birds".  So I knew they were finches  of some kind.  Could they have been House Finches of multi colorations?
