[Tweeters] Vancouver Boreal Owl gone

Bill, Tweeters, and OBOLinks,

The Boreal Owl at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary near Vancouver, BC
was last seen on March 24, after a 12-day stay. It's amazing that
the bird stayed that long. It should have been on its breeding territory
by late March.

However, don't fret-- Boreal Owls, unlike Baikal Teal and Redwings,
are a regular breeding species in S BC, E Washington, and NE
Oregon, if a bit hard to find at times.

Subject: [obol] RFI: Boreal Owl (Vancouver, BC)?? / Redwing (Olympia,WA)??

Hello folks. Does anyone out there in the land of
Tweeters / BC Birds / Inland NW Birds / OBOL have any
more recent knowledge about the Vancouver BC BOREAL
OWL (last post ~ March 24th) or the Olympia REDWING
(last post ~ early March )?

After five unsuccessful attempts, a few others and I
are toying with the thought of making another run for
the BAIKAL TEAL that has been relocated south of Kent
Ponds in Washington. Some of us haven't seen the
Olympia REDWING. In addition, some of us may want to
continue on up to BC for the Vancouver BOREAL OWL if
it is still there.

Any more recent information would be much appreciated.
