Hi Everyone-

I just returned from an 8 day family vacation in Costa Rica. The rest of
the family does not share my passion for birds, so this was not a birding
trip. However, I was able to identify 129 species, of which 68 were new
world 'lifers'.

These birds were seen in the Monteverde Cloud Forest, Manuel Antonio
National Park, and the areas in between these (we had a rental car). My
personal favorites were the respendent quetzal, the Scarlet Macaw, and the
various colorful hummingbirds we saw. I can't wait to go back!

Good Birding
