Wed Mar 23 13:26:57 PST 2005

12:33 start - water level mid with some mudflats visible (10:00 low tide
- 4.9ft; 15:17 high tide - 9.3ft)
13:08 end

Clear skies and warmer (than yesterday) northerly breeze at Turning
Basin #3. Not many highlights (except it's really nice out there); the
BARROW'S GOLDENEYE was here during part of my scan. After a week-plus
absence, a GREAT BLUE HERON was hunting along the east bank just south
of the Boeing road.

Note: The Shadow (Peregrine Falcon) was atop the west-bank power tower
at Hamm Creek at 6:46am.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Canada Goose (2)
Mallard (5)
Bufflehead (4)
Barrow's Goldeneye
Common Merganser (4)
Double-crested Cormorant (2)
Great Blue Heron
Mew Gull (9)
Glaucous-winged Gull (8)
Rock Pigeon (17)
American Crow (2)
Bewick's Wren
European Starling (12)
Song Sparrow
Red-winged Blackbird
House Sparrow

May all your birds be identified,
