Here is the October, 2007, turkey vulture report
for British Columbia, Washington, and other points of interest.

01 – 1 soaring over Freeland on south Whidbey
Island; 1 headed south over Freeport
03 – 9 between Preston and Fall City; 30 soaring
over downtown Olympia; 1 over the Walla Walla
River; 2 moving south down Magnolia bluff; 22 over downtown Olympia
04 – 152 passing south over Ridgefield NWR
05 – 60 over Vashon Island; 1 from Seattle; 70-72
northwest of SeaTac with another kettle of 19 a
bit later; 40 over Rest Lake, Ridgefield; 14 over Lake Forest Park
06 – ca.30 spiralling over the treetops on Vashon
07 – 12 at Eatonville’s “gut pile”; 2 over Bainbridge Island
08 – kettle of 9 plus 2 ravens and a Cooper’s
hawk over Eatonville; 1 juvenile and a raven
inspecting a dead cat; 57+ over Port Angeles; 6 near Eatonville
11 – continuous migrations over Oregon; two
kettles of 14 and 6 over Ridgefield NWR
23 – 1 over Hood Park, Walla Walla County; 6 kettling near North Bend
26 – 2 about 3 kilometers from Lakeville, New Brunswick, Canada
30 – 1 over Boundary Bay RP, B.C. flying south
