Tweets,

Wayne Weber called to ask if I would post this update on the status of the Abbotsford IVORY GULL, as his power is out up in BC.

The directions posted to Tweeters from the Vancouver rare bird alert should be sufficient to get you to the general area where the bird has been seen since last Saturday.

It is an adult and feeds with a flock of ca. 3000 mostly Mew and Glaucous-winged Gulls on worms in farm fields. It was seen today until at least noon along Page Rd at Hayton Rd. (a short spur to the north from Page). It is a few hundred yards east of where it was seen previously. Page Rd. is a quiet paved farm road with enough shoulder to park safely, not far off of Hwy. 11 between Abbotsford and Mission..
