Hi Tweeters,

Clear skies and a slight northwest wind had me anticipating a good nocturnal
migration over my yard in Battle Ground, Clark County last night. However,
one has to be awake to really experience it. During the night, I counted
the following (would have been more if I had managed to stay awake longer):

Swainson's Thrush 25
Yellow Warbler 5
warbler/vireo 4
Savannah Sparrow 2
sparrow sp 8
This morning, 2 Common Ravens flew over. These were the first ones for the
yard since January 1, 2007! Some Evening Grosbeaks flew over this morning
so they are definitely "in" now.
