Matt, Tweets,

Brien Meilleur spotted ca. 30 Black Swifts over the north end of Lake Washington this morning at 6:30 AM and they were foraging high over the Lake Forest Park Shopping Center at 9:30 AM.

Subject: [Tweeters] Montlake Fill birds Wednesday morning [6/4]

Hi Tweets -
This morning at the Montlake Fill [Seattle, WA], a few nice birds popped out between the eternal rain showers.

LAZULI BUNTING - male singing in the same field it was on Monday , the 'northeastern' field, across the path from the ornamental garden, and next to the student garden.

YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD - 3 day I've seen it , presumably the same one found over the weekend. It has lately been hanging out on a rooftop across the street from the main CUH parking lot.

MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER - 1 singing in the northenmost grove of trees.

SPOTTED SANDPIPER - 1 on the main pond.

Also had both Blue-winged & Cinammon Teal on Shoveller Pond, 5 swallow species & a Willow Flycatcher [they really seem to be taking their time getting back this year!]. Yesterday, there was a Bullock's Oriole singing from the cottonwoods out closest to the bay. No sound of him today.

Good birding,
