[Tweeters] Aloha, Rufous Hummingbirds

September 13 was our first day since March 3 when we detected no Rufous Hummingbirds in the yard.  Oddly, the only Anna's Hummingbird we've seen all year also appeared on Sept. 12 for a brief visit.  It's nice to know that Rufous are here more than half the year.

Today, Sept. 16, we had an early morning visit from a Rufous Hummer, likely a migrant passing through quickly, a pattern we've seen in other Septembers.
