We saw about one dozen HEERMANS GULLS in winter plumage roosting at the pier at Fort Worden state park Sunday afternoon, offering excellent views.

Also half a dozen GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE in the sewage pond at Ft. Flagler earlier in the day, and numerous SAVANNAH SPARROWS near the shore at the base of the bluffs at both parks
