We have a junco identical to that that's been visiting our yard and feeder since last summer. We wondered if he was a cross between a dark-eyed junco and white-crowned sparrow, but as with John's junco, everything about the rest of the plumage is normal.

Subject: [Tweeters] Partially Leucistic Dark-eyed Junco
Hi everyone,
Yesterday, one of the (Oregon) Dark-eyed Juncos that visited our feeders had unique plumage characteristics. The bird's cheeks, on both side of the head, consisted of white patches. I had very good binoc looks to confirm that it wasn't discoloration from something else. Everything else about the bird's plumage coloration and markings was normal.
