Your bird is a Townsend's Solitaire. I had a couple around Vantage today myself (see post). Other than the size, which appears closer to robin size, as oppossed to the small size of an empid, the orange buffy wingbars are classic for a solitaire. The bird are fairly regular in riparian areas, especially in the vicinity of Junipers along the Columbia River region of Central WA.
