Hi,
Yesterday Dennis Duffy, Marv Breece and I hiked up to Union Gap. The highlight was an American Three-toed Woodpecker. It had a short tail indicating it was probably a juvenile. Also several Pine Grosbeaks showing well, two Chipping Sparrows and a few Pygmy Owls.
At Lake Janus there was a Barrow Goldeneye with 6 young and a singing Lincoln's Sparrow. Marv saw a mystery sapsucker.
Cheers and good birding
Steve
