As Dianne Moore stated we only got a brief look at the Hudsonian Godwit. At her request here is a complete list for the day. I think the day set a record for me for the number of shorebirds I have ever seen in one day. I had to run down to Midway Beach and Tokeland just to run the numbers up a little for the day. So here is my list for the day 22 species in all.

Oyhut Game Range

Hudsonian Godwit
Pectoral Sandpiper
Baird's Sandpiper
Western Sandpiper
Least Sanpiper
Semi-palmated Sandpiper
Semi-palmated Plover
Killdeer
Lesser Yellowlegs
Greater Yellowlegs
Long-billed Dowichers
Short-billed Dowicher
American Golden Plover
Pacific Golden Plover
Dunlin

1 unknown species of sandpiper (If someone who is good with shorebirds would like to contact me off line I would love to give a description). The closest bird is a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper. But it wasn't a Sharp-tailed.

1 Wandering Tattler on the rocks on just off the beach from the game range

Midway Beach

Snowy Plover

Tokeland

Marbled Godwit
Wimbrel
Willet
Black-bellied Plover
