Hi Tweets,

My husband Sam and I started off this morning in the Othello Cemetery,
looking in the trees for owls. In one of the trees in the southwest section
of the cemetery (near what looks like a hearth), we saw some feathers on the
ground, and looking up into the tree saw what we think is a dead Great
Horned Owl; it looks like it is lying face-up, jammed between some branches.
Because there were so many branches in the way, it was difficult to say for
sure what it was. However, while we were looking up in the tree, trying to
figure out exactly what it was, two juvenile (still slightly fuzzy)
Great-Horned Owls flew out of the same tree; they flew across the cemetery
and landed.

I'm wondering whether there had been three juvenile owls and one died, or
whether the dead owl was one of the adults? Has anyone been checking into
the cemetery lately and been following the owls?
