below as well as a program description.

Program Description:

Explore the mysteries of bird feather identification with naturalist and
environmental educator Dave Scott, co-author of the newly released field guide

the field. Whether you are a skilled birder, or just someone who enjoys spending
time outdoors, this class will give you a new window into the intriguing science
of bird feather identification.

Autographed field guides will be available for purchase at the program ($35 cash
or check only please).

Program Location:

Western Washington University
Viking Union 5th floor
Sunday, October 10 at 2pm

About Bird Feathers: A Guide to North American Species:

Bird Feathers is the very first North American field guide dedicated solely to
the identification of feathers. The guide includes photographs of the flight and
body feathers of around 400 species and trains readers to use feather morphology
and coloration to identify loose feathers found in the field. The field guide is
now available on Amazon.com and some book stores locally.

Hope to see you there,

Dave Scott
