I would like to invite you to the Washington Ornithological Society
meeting this Monday. Members and non members alike are welcome, social
time at 7:00 and presentation at 7:30. Please come, meet old friends,
make new ones, hear the presentation and hear about announcement about
new happenings at WOS! Here is a summary of our speaker and his talk:

Jorge A. Tomasevic is studying for a Ph.D. in Wildlife Science at the
University of Washington, Seattle, on a Fulbright-Conicyt scholarship
from Chile. In addition, he has been working on ecology and conservation
of forest birds since 1999. His main interest is in improving the
conservation status of forest bird species and to this end, he has
worked with the Chilean Woodstar and the Masafuera Rayadito, both
endemic to Chile and in serious danger of extinction.

Look forward to seeing you there.
