There are lots of coastal birds visible from the Edmonds waterfront, which includes Brackett's Landing, Olympic Beach, the fishing pier, the marina, and Marina Park.  Here is a link to the Edmonds Parks & Rec. website:

What birds you can see along the waterfront will vary each day.   The nearby Edmonds marsh is also worth checking out if you are in the area.
