Hello all,

I took a quick walk around the dog park this morning, seperate from
the Thursday group since I needed to go to work at some point and I
wanted to cover ground a little more quickly. As I was headed back to
my car I ran into the group who were scouring the flocks of Cedar
Waxwings looking for an elusive Bohemian. Eventually it was located
and moved several times before we finally lost it for the last time
and most of the group moved on. Since one of the lower trees was
absolutely full of Cedar Waxwings, one of my favorite birds and one
I've had a hard time photographing, I took advantage of their close
proximity to the trail and willingness to pose and began photographing
them fill their stomachs with berries. I was shocked to discover the
one of the closest birds to me was indeed the Bohemian. He posed for
quite a few shots before returning to the high trees.

Also of interest is this Cedar Waxwing with a very different shaped
bill than the rest. I'm not sure is this is the type of variation seen
commonly or not?

All in all a very lovely day.
