The Vermillion Flycatcher has probably been here all winter, but the
sightings have been few and far between. When seen it has been along Bower
Slough on the River S auto tour route mostly between stops 6 and 10. Last
report was a week ago. It is a female so won't stand out as colorful.

So I can't seem to find the post, but I swear someone posted that they'd
seen a Vermillion Flycatcher in Ridgefield NWR near Vancouver, WA. Is this
for real? I wasn't sure if it was a joke, so I'm asking. I am in that area
this weekend, and if it's actually real it would be a huge lifer for me, but
obviously that bird must be really confused if its that far out of its
range. If it is really there will someone tell me, and give me directions to
the specific part of the park where they saw it?
