[Tweeters] Birding Questions for Discovery Park and Green Lake

Hello Tweets,

I feel like I have been asking a lot of questions here on Tweeters, so I'm
trying to cut down on it. It's great to have a knowledgeable community to
ask questions! Still, I have two and a half questions to ask.

Firstly, I have seen reports of Rufous Hummingbirds and a Long-tailed Duck
at Discovery Park. Those two birds are an anticipated FOY and lifer,
respectively. Where should I look to find them? Right now, I know that the
Rufous Hummingbird is "near Daybreak Star", and the Long-tailed Duck is off
the "South Beach".

Secondly, has anyone seen the Eurasian Wigeon(s) recently at Green Lake?
How likely is it that he's / they are still there? I hope to go see a
Eurasian before they head north!

And now that I've finished asking, I'll tell: the Varied Thrushes have been
singing all day long in my yard! It's hauntingly beautiful. Also, a few
days ago, I heard a Bald Eagle calling, so distant as to be just faintly
audible. I looked up, and saw 4 eagles circling very high overhead. Then,
half an hour later, I spotted two more eagles circling over a mile away! I
must have eagle eyes as well as eagle ears.

Good birding (and thanks for responding), Joshua Glant
