Hi Tweets,

sorry for the late report, misplaced my original draft, so here is the
abbreviated late report.

We had a gorgeous day at the Refuge last Wednesday. Highlights included a
GRAY WHALE spotted by Jon Anderson in Shannon Slough and McAllister Creek
foraging for 1-2 hours. We also had first of year CLIFF SWALLOW and
SAVANNAH SPARROW. Lots of breeding activity including CANADA GOOSE, WOOD
DUCK, BALD EAGLE, HAIRY WOODPECKER and RUFUOS HUMMINGBIRD. Approximately
70 species seen with 108 for the year.

Here is my eBird report. Until next week when we meet again at 8am at the
Visitor Center.
Good birding,
Shep
