Bill and I have spent the last month in Southeast Arizona,
mostly birding. The last time we stayed here was in December, 2014, so,
while the resident birds are the same, there were a lot of birds that have
returned for the summer season, or are just passing through. We tried to
get photos of every bird we saw, but, of course, did not succeed.
Nonetheless, we did get shots of Elegant Trogon, Gray Hawk, Thick-billed
Flycatcher, and Red-faced Warbler. I am including three links to Flickr

the file for the birds, arranged roughly in groups according to where we saw

continuing to try to identify butterflies wherever I travel. I think I
found about 35 species this time, many lifers for me. One of the lifers was
the curiously named Fatal Metalmark, Calephelis nemesis!
https://www.flickr.com/photos/29258421@N07/albums/72157665305967923 We were
intrigued by the many lizards scurrying around on the trails near our feet.
So we decided to try to photograph them to. The ones we got are represented
in this album, about 23 pictures of about 4 or 5 species.
I hope you will enjoy looking at some of these pictures!
