Hello Tweetsters:

I'd like to let you know about an upcoming bird-related event in which I
happen to be involved. The following text is based on the poster
prepared by Page 2 Books in Burien:

Birdfest features a great lineup of experts and writers on birds:

Gordon Orians, professor emeritus of biology at the University of Washing-
ton, and author of “Snakes, Sunrises and Shakespeare: How Evolution
Shapes Our Loves and Fears”;

Judy Lane, Burien artist and author in whose works birds figure
prominently;

Jane Hadley, editor of the second edition of the Washington
Ornithological Society’s “A Birder’s Guide to Washington”;

Kevin Ebi, nature photographer and author of “Year of the Ea-
gle.”

The event is free and open to the public, and Page 2 will have copies of
books available for purchase.

Saturday Feb. 13, 2016
11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Birdfest is sponsored by Bob Edgar, Sustainable Burien, Wild Birds
Unlimited, Cornell Labs and Audubon, and presented by Page 2 Books, 457
SW 152nd St., Burien · 206-248-7248 · page2books.com
