[Tweeters] Juanita Bats

The last couple of dry years have suppressed swallow populations here at
Juanita Bay. However the local bat population is not as mobile as the
other insectivores. A good hatching of small but meaty bugs has brought
out the little brown bats in impressive numbers this last week. As
always, best seen at dusk when they are silhouetted against the sky and
water. The best viewing is from the north and south ends of the
causeway at the bay park.

Be wary of tripping over the Pokemongoliods - a new and clueless
subspecies wandering about in the dark. An evolutionary dead end I hope.

Safe travels,

Dennis Moore
