The Black-throated Blue Warbler was seen by many today at the top of
Blacksnake Ridge in Walla Walla County. There is pink flagging around
the tree at the entrance to the trail - just follow the flagging down
the hill, up and over - to the old skitter trail. The Williamson's
Sapsucker is nesting in the snag across from the tree with flagging.

Shep Thorp (thanks for all the flagging Shep), Barbara Webster and Ruth
Godding found the bird yesterday on our Biscuit Ridge WOS field trip.

Adult male singing - but a weird song - like a weird loud OC Warbler
type song.

Later, MerryLynn
