Hi Tweets!

After revisiting the 1201thirdtenants.org site yesterday and today and after receiving several messages and thoughts from the Tweeterage, this afternoon, the answer is in ! From Ed Deal, one of several volunteers from the Seattle Peregrine Project, came this note:

We did band the 4 youngsters today.....2 males and 2 females. They are now roaming the entire ledge and will sometimes be out of sight. The security staff will sometimes zoom out the camera to give a view of more of the ledge....but they are often busy with their primary responsibility of building security. Wright-Runstad staff have been absolutely wonderful to work with for 23 years. Enjoy....

Best,
Ed Deal

Good to know - as I watched one youngster yesterday evening, fly-hop up to the nest from just outside the box, and then hop back out and scurry around a bit, I realized these young, with their dark pin feathers starting to show and dark featherage appearing on their faces and elsewhere, are quickly growing up and, as does happen at times, could easily have an accident and fall a 'few' (42 ?) stories down to pavement or someone's head or into the arms of an angel ! Glad that so far, so good !

Thanks Peregrine Keepers :-)
