Just saw (3:15) this afternoon the Rufous feeding again. My only conclusion, unless it's another one, is that there is one nesting in the area. Or at least hanging around a long time. It had been a couple of days since I'd seen it and thought it had moved on. If I had seen a male also in the area, would that mean that perhaps there is a mating pair?
I did just see the Bushtits still approaching the "nest in the cage", but have not seen any family feeding. Don't know if there's second brood brewing or what in the heck is happening in there.
It's just fun to see all the activity. The evenings are so enjoyable thinking about the kids getting fed before bed.
