[Tweeters] Snohomish Western Kingbird (WEKI)

Hello Tweets,
I've been staring out my back window all day (as parenting breaks
allow) in hopes of catching a Western Kingbird in the fields off
Short-School Rd. Funny enough, during one of my scans I saw a jeep
drive by and thought to myself, "that looks a lot like Tom Mansfield's
jeep." A few minutes later I saw the same go back the other way at
"birder speed" with the windows down and my suspicions really went up.
I had to laugh out loud when I saw Tom's email a few minutes later.
The radio station fields are only visible through small windows in the
trees from the very back of my yard, so I had to spend a lot of time
scanning before I finally got a brief look at the WEKI flycatching
from a perch. Thanks to Tom for posting from the field, it's always
appreciated.

Earlier today I had a nice mixed flock move through the yard. Besides
the ubiquitous Yellow-Rumped Warblers Ruby-Crowned Kinglets which have
been present for the last week or so, it included some other nice
migrants:
3 Orange-Crowned Warblers
1 Towsend's Warbler
2 Warbling Vireos (FOY)
2 Nashville Warblers (FOY and new for the yard list)

Yesterday I had my FOY Pacific-Slope Flycatcher. The big surprise of
the day came when I was pishing in my overgrown side yard, hoping to
get a sparrow or Hermit Thrush to pop up. Instead a Wilson's Snipe
flew out.
