Tweets,

After returning from two weeks of birding in southern Mexico, I had energy
to only bird in my Battle Ground, Clark County yard this morning with some
fun results. Nothing like a Big Sit on a damp morning. Highlights
included a fallout of warblers and a few other surprises:

HOUSE WREN - 1 (FOY-yard and only the second time for the yard and first
Spring record)
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 135 (both Myrtle and Audubon's)
Orange-crowned Warbler - 15
Wilson's Warbler - 8 (FOY-yard)
MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER - 1 (FOY-yard)
NASHVILLE WARBLER - 1 (FOY-yard)
Black-throated Gray Warbler - 1 (FOY-yard)
unidentified flyover warbler - 25

Other FOY-yard birds were:

Belted Kingfisher (flyby)
Brown-headed Cowbird - 2
Chestnut-backed Chickadee - 2 (increasingly rare for my yard

Hoping for more tomorrow!

Keeping my eyes and ears skyward except when its raining.

Jim
