Hi tweets!
I've had a bit of bad luck when it comes to migrants recently, I just can't
seem to find any! (being busy probably hasn't helped). However, I seem to
have gotten over it!!
I took a trip to my patch, Watershed Park in Kirkland, which isn't always
amazing during spring migration. I was pretty pleased today. I totaled 5
warbler species, with the Black-throated Gray that have been around for a
little bit, my park FOY Orange-crowned Warbler, my park FOY Wilson's
Warbler, a myrtle Yellow-rumped Warbler and the definite star of the show,
a gorgeous Nashville Warbler, only the second one ever at my park! I also
had a quick look at a still un-IDed flycatcher (can't get 'em all I guess).
Other notable birds included a White-crowned and Golden-crowned Sparrow, a
Hutton's vireo and a still sticking around Ruby-crowned Kinglet (won't be
much longer though!) Overall I was quite pleased with my jaunt to the park.
Good luck searching!
