[Tweeters] Is this a Hoary Redpoll?

We just returned from four days at Ultima Thule Lodge, where we actually
flew with bush pilots for a few days, into the mountains of Wrangell
National Forest, in the Wrangell Mountains in Alaska.

The link I am providing is what I think is a Hoary, altho I have actually
never seen a pic of them going into breeding plumage. To be honest I never
gave them much thought. There were several of these flying loosely with
Common Redpolls. I also got a Willow Ptarmigan at the same location, in
the middle of nowhere...
Thanks, for helping me out on this. There is also a photo of a definite
Common on the account, so you can see the bill size and body shape
difference for yourselves..
Happy Birding!
