Diann,
I was surprised to see a lone TUVU from our Bothell Way condo grounds, soaring in the distance across the Sammamish River, seen just over the tall cottonwoods, dipping below the treeline, then reappearing twice. I have seen them in our area on just 2 other occasions in the almost 19 years we've lived here, once at the UW Bothell in Oct 2020 and again in nearby Wayne Golf Course Preserve in late March 2021. So maybe this will be a yearly occurrence, ha ha.
