[Tweeters] Short-eared Owls in Samish Flats and lots of ducks and eagles

Hello tweeters,

If you’re headed to the Samish Flats you can see the Short-eared Owls hunt
in many places, you don’t have to limit yourself to the East 90. I don’t
have a fabulous camera but did get a few nice pictures January 27th from
Bayview-Edison Rd south of the “T”. Also saw lots of pintail with
green-winged teals and widgeons sprinkled in.  Closer to Edison saw several
Bald Eagles in trees, on the ground and flying. The Northern Harriers were
hunting and the Great Blue Herons were stalking.

It’s always a good day winter birding in the flats!
