There is a Caspian Tern nesting site (colony) on Dungness Spit (Sequim).
A few birds show up at Esquimalt Lagoon (Victoria, BC).
The straight-line distance is 36km. The shortest crossing is Angeles
Point to Race Rocks - 16km.
