I also have to agree with Dennis on this one.

I seriously doubt that bird names have ever kept anyone who is genuinely
interested in birds from pursuing their interests.

Far better to direct your time, energy and money into preserving the birds
and habitats that we all love so much, especially in these times of
ecological degradation.

In my view, dividing the birding community is a loss to everyone, but
especially to the birds.
