Outstanding place!  We were there in June 2023. It takes awhile to get there, but well worth it.  The last 7 kilometers in hand- paddled canoes (metal, and by 2 paddlers - one or both also guides) from the Napo River up a narrow stream with birds all along. Stream exits from a lake on which the lodge sits. We stayed 4 or 5 nights. Very friendly staff. Good food. 

We also booked a trip out of Tandayapa Lodge and covered cloud forest birds from ~ 500 to 3000 m of elevation
