After what was numbers wise almost our worst Vaux’s Swift Northbound Migration ever the Southbound may turn out to be the best. But JBLM had a very discouraging year. We believe our new roost site in Rainier, OR is the reason. They just documented their 250,000th roosting event since August 18. The wee birds have taken to swiftly getting down to the SF Bay Area and hanging out for a long time. Last night The Brickyard broke a million.
