About Gero-group	English (USA)
The Gerontology Social Work Group (the "Gero-Group") is led by undergraduate and graduate social work students committed to research and/or practice with older adults. In collaboration with faculty and staff from the School of Social Work, as well as students and faculty from other disciplines across campus, the group advocates for a vibrant gerontology social work curriculum and sponsors special events such as panels and workshops to offer educational opportunities to students, faculty, and community members. The group promotes socially just social work practice with older adults, and it meets regularly to coordinate these efforts and provide networking opportunities. This listserv is a communication tool for the Gero-Group to communicate with one another and others interested in gerontology social work. The list is open to students, faculty and community members beyond the University of Washington community, for the purpose of communicating Gero-Group activities as well as other gerontology social work related events and topics. Please do not simply post forwards to this list. If you'd like to forward a relevant message from another source, please provide text explaining why you are forwarding to this group and how you see the post relevant to the Gero-Group. Subscribing to Gero-group

Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.
